We have no shortage of great bars in Manchester, but one London bar chain is coming to spruce things up a bit. Simmons is known around the capital for its groovy vibes and affordable drinks, becoming a go-to for many nights out, and now it’s coming to Deansgate in Manchester for the masses to enjoy.
The Simmons Manchester site is located on the ground floor under Roxy Ball Room Deansgate, in the old Botanist site, making it the perfect position for city centre bevs. Teasing the opening, Simmons has installed a huge mirrored sign with its branding and ‘cocktails, dreams, disco’ emblazoned across the front, so you really can’t miss it if you’re in the area.
In an Instagram post, Simmons Manchester wrote: “The Party Perimeter. Made for dancing. Installing the raised dance stages that surround Manchester’s new dance floor.”
The late-night cocktail bar offers the perfect place for after work drinks or a cheeky dance, and already has bars in 22 London locations, including Soho, Camden and Kings Cross. Simmons Manchester will bring its notoriously eclectic musical taste; ranging from hip-hop, to disco, to funk, to 80s, 90s and classic party bangers, making it the perfect party environment.
Until 9pm Sunday to Friday, punters can pick up two-for-one cocktails, £2.50 spirit and mixers (or £5 doubles), £3 beer and wine, and £12 bottles of wine, plus cocktail teapots for £15 – on Saturdays it’s two-for-one cocktails and £15 teapots until 9pm.
Famed for its kitsch, colourful interiors, with hot pink neon lights, bold wallpapers, and always a disco ball, Simmons has made its mark on the capital, with the Manchester bar being its first outside London. Simmons Manchester is set to open this autumn, and you can see their progress on Instagram.
You can sign up here to secure your spot on the list for one of two FREE bar launch parties – yep, free bar.
📍 Simmons Manchester will be located at 78 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 2FW.
