North East superstar Sam Fender has just announced a huge arena tour this December, his first UK tour since spring 2022, hitting Manchester’s Co-op Live along the way. The seven-date run commences in Dublin in six weeks on December 2, concluding on December 20 at the Utilita Arena back in Newcastle, calling in Leeds, Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow.
Sam’s return to London at the O2 Arena will signal his first performance in the capital since headlining Finsbury Park back in the Summer of 2022. Since those dates, Sam has headlined Reading & Leeds Festival in 2023, and Boardmasters earlier this summer. Next Spring, Sam headlines European shows in Paris, Tilburg, Zurich, Cologne, Bergamo, Berlin, and wrapping up at the Forest National arena in Brussels.
Sam has been in the studio working on the follow up to 2021’s critically acclaimed number one, and BRIT Award winning second album, Seventeen Going Under. Fans who pre-order the soon-to-be-announced third studio album here will receive pre-sale access on Tuesday 22 October.
Sam Fender made his name as an outspoken and candid indie star just a few years ago, and has had a stratospheric rise to fame, playing the iconic Castlefield Bowl in Manchester in 2022, a very different challenge to Co-op Live on December 6 and 7. This tour is likely to bring huge tunes including Hypersonic Missiles, Seventeen Going Under and Getting Started, alongside new bangers from the upcoming album.
