Following the news of Irish band Fontaines D.C. set to perform at Wythenshawe Park next summer, Catfish and the Bottlemen has now announced that they will also be heading to Manchester for a huge outdoor show in 2025. Playing on June 13th at Heaton Park, the indie rock band will be kicking things off for a summer of music, with Oasis to play at the North Manchester park the following month.
Last month, Catfish and the Bottlemen announced that they would be playing two stadium headline shows at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on August 1 and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on August 3. But luckily for Manchester fans, they can now see the band live on the big stage too next summer.
The indie rock band, which was formed in the North Wales town of Llandudno, is best known for songs Kathleen, Cocoon, 7, Longshot and Pacifier. The band’s debut album, The Balcony, reached number 10 in the UK Albums Chart and won a Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act in 2016.
The band is comprised of Ryan Evan “Van” McCann and Benji Blakeway, with current touring musicians Kai Smith and James Compton.
Pre-sale tickets for Catfish and the Bottlemen in Manchester will go live at 10am on Wednesday 2nd October 2024, which you can sign up to here. General sale will take place on Friday 4th October at 10am here.
