In case you needed another reason to love Manchester in the summer, Sacha Lord has announced a brand new scheme which benefits all of us: a city-wide Happy Hour.
Launching this Sunday (June 26th), guests will be able to enjoy free drinks at Salford’s Adelphi Lads Club between 5-6pm, in a bid to help support some of the city’s locals and help get people back in pubs. Paid for by the Nighttime Economy Advisor himself, the new scheme will be popping up in various pubs and bars across the city this summer, with Lord announcing when and where Mancs will find it on his Twitter over the next couple of months.
Announcing in a post on Linkedin, Sacha Lord said: “To thank everyone in our city for their support for the hospitality sector throughout the past two years, I’ll be paying for an hour’s free drinks in pubs across each of our city-region’s ten boroughs throughout summer.
“Starting this Sunday, 26th June, at Adelphi Lads Club in Salford between 5-6pm. I’ll be at each Happy Hour to personally thank landlords, staff and everybody who have kept our sector going. It’s about time I bought everyone a pint!
It’s currently unclear which pubs will benefit from Sacha’s generosity next, however, you can find out over on his Twitter here.
