Finally, some good news.
Providing pizza for the people since 2014, Ancoats-born Rudy’s has temporarily closed its doors across all restaurants amid the Coronavirus pandemic, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the UK’s number one pizza in the comfort of your own home during this strange ordeal.
After originally trialling a click-and-collect service at the beginning of the UK lockdown, which proved incredibly successful, Rudy’s fans are now able to order their favourite pizzas to scran at home, with both the Ancoats and Peter Street restaurants now listed on Deliveroo.
The new service is available locally via Deliveroo only, with the whole pizza menu up for grabs so you can order your usual and enjoy it in front of the tele. Not only that, but fans of the restaurant can also enjoy bottles of Italian wine and Poretti 4 Italian lager, too, making the whole ordeal even more authentic. Additionally, customers are now able to select collection when making their orders via Deliveroo, something that the much-loved pizzeria has newly introduced this week.
The restaurant is well-known for its deliciously doughy Neopolitan pizzas, which have been named the best in the UK, and tenth best in the world. The pizzeria was forced to close their doors back in March, before lockdown, to protect the health and safety of their staff and customers following the Prime Minister’s social distancing advice.
The new delivery service launched earlier last week in Ancoats, and is available for those living in the Deliveroo catchment area for both the Ancoats and Peter Street restaurants.
