Manchester is pretty good when it comes to pizza-making. We’re not trying to claim we’re the Naples of the North or anything… But there are some pretty spectacular pizzerias in the city, including Rudy’s, which was founded in this city before becoming a national sensation with bake at home pizzas and further restaurants.
However, one of the top pizzerias, Rudy’s Pizza – loved by Mancs so much there are now three venues in Manchester city centre alone. While that does mean the perfect slice is never far away, these authentic Neapolitan pizzas have really dulled our tastebuds for the supermarkets’ frozen pizza range. We now just wish we had some better pizzas to bake at home.
Thankfully, Rudy’s has heard our mutterings and has announced the return of its Bake At Home pizza delivery service – now available nationwide. This means you can have authentic Neapolitan pizzas ready to go for your next party/family gathering/bridal shower/wake/whatever! Using fresh double-fermented dough and Neapolitan ingredients, these Bake At Home pizzas follow the same traditional methods as Rudy’s restaurants too.
Neal Bates, Managing Director of Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, said: “During lockdown, our Bake At Home pizza range was incredibly popular, and we were so grateful to our friends across the country who supported us. Bake at home was rested while we reopened our pizzerias. Since then, we have been regularly asked when the Bake At Home pizzas would be available again, so recently we have built our Rudy’s Home Delivery Kitchen in our Portland Street Manchester pizzeria.”
How does Rudy’s ‘Bake At Home’ work?
Made in Rudy’s new Portland Street pizzeria in Manchester, the pizzeria team will prepare, package and post directly to your front door. Some of the menu highlights include its signature Calabrese with spicy ‘nduja sausage; the classic Margherita; the meaty Carni with salame finocchiona, salame picante and wild boar salame; and the ever-popular Portobello.
Simply follow the instructions on the packaging to pre-heat the oven to 220°C/430°F, drizzle on a little olive oil, pop the pizza in the oven directly onto the middle shelf then bake for seven minutes and enjoy your favourite restaurant’s pizzas from the comfort of your home.
To celebrate, a special introductory offer lets you buy six pizzas for the price of four throughout August. Just use the code RUDYS644 at checkout. Rudy’s Bake At Home is available to order on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and can be purchased here.
