Ah to be a student again.
Those nights when you could drink rocket fuel without being sick out of your nose, and come back with change from a tenner. But those cheap vodka-fueled nights inevitably lead to monstrous hangovers that freshers may be ill-equipped to handle.
Thankfully The Printworks has created a Hangover Haven for those who may be missing the comforts of home, complete with cheap eats and feel-good films!
Students are invited to VUE at the Printworks on September 24 for a day of hangover-soothing films, which have all been hand-picked by students via social media. The cinema will be screening Mean Girls, The Hangover and The Greatest Showman for FREE between 11am and 6pm, perfect for those needing a little low-intensity recovery time.
And for those who prefer to work through their hangover, VUE will be also hosting a free gaming marathon with a screen dedicated to classic multi-player games, such as FIFA and Street Fighter.
Of course, no Hangover Haven would be complete without a dirty fry-up and O’Neill’s in The Printworks is offering a Full English for just £1, along with £1.50 burgers, and a whole host of drinks deals (if you can face it) and events across Fresher’s Week.
Anyone fancy lending me their student card?
