We love the opportunity to become big kids, and there’s no shortage of that here in Manchester. Whether it’s aquaparks, theme parks or gaming bars, we’ve got them all, and now we’ve got Oxygen, a huge state-of-the-art indoor activity park, now open in MediaCity, so the whole family can jump around come rain or shine.
Oxygen at MediaCity is packed with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and activities, helping local families stay active whilst having big-time fun. Located at Quayside MediaCity, Oxygen will sit above bustling food hall Kargo MKT, taking over the former site of ‘I’m a Celebrity Jungle Challenge’.

Following a £2.5 million investment, the new park centres around 24 trampolines, whilst also featuring a mega-air bag and Oxygen’s signature Excite Tunnel, an illuminated, sensory experience. Families are able to get even more airtime, as Oxygen at MediaCity is also home to a high ropes course, where bouncers over 135cm can navigate across six challenging crossings, while the Sky Rider will give thrill seekers a sky-high feeling as they take flight and soar over the park on a harness.
The fun at Oxygen doesn’t stop with the park’s activities, as the new Hero Crew is also be on hand to lead a series of optional games, activities and even dance parties during each session. The park also hosts Peaceful Play sessions, designed for neurodivergent guests, who prefer a calmer, quieter playing environment.

The park is home to a well-placed café, serving drinks, snacks, and meals. Overlooking the park, the café gives big kids (the parents!) the chance to kick back and relax, while still keeping a watchful eye over their mini bouncers.
Oxygen at MediaCity is also the perfect place for hosting parties, whether it’s for toddlers, or those celebrating birthdays in the double digits and beyond. A series of new packages help families celebrate in style, all of which include a 60-minute Activeplay jump session, a designated party host to keep the energy high, and a selection of food and drinks served in a dedicated party area, letting parents and care givers sit back and watch the fun unfold.

Stephen Wilson, Chief Executive Officer at Oxygen Activeplay, said: “Opening Oxygen at MediaCity is a really significant moment for all of the Oxygen Hero Crew. With it being our newest Oxygen Park, we set out to create a really special environment where our jumpers can come and play from the minute they step through the doors, so we’ve worked really hard to bring our new worlds to life.
“We can’t wait to welcome the first jumpers through the door at Oxygen at MediaCity and meet even more of the Salford and Manchester communities in the coming weeks. We hope to see you soon!”

On the first Friday of every month, Oxygen at MediaCity will be Manchester’s hotspot, hosting their Neon Night party, where the lights are turned down low, the music is pumped up and the disco neon lights are on full blast. The evenings will be filled with jumping, games, dancing and competitions from 6pm until 8pm.
Following 20 weeks and 6,000 hours of hard work from the construction team, Oxygen at MediaCity is now open – prebooking is advised.
📍 Oxygen MediaCity is located at Quayside MediaCity, The Quays, Salford M50 3AH.
