You may have heard of the smash burger but there’s a new burger-style that’s taking over Manchester that might be alien to some of you. Blending out-of-this-world flavours with mess-free UFO-shaped burgers, Outer Space Burger is landing in Manchester aiming to “redefine the city’s takeaway burger scene”.
Outer Space Burger, based on the viral, ‘Instagrammable’ South Korean burger trend, are made using a patented UFO Burger Machine, designed specifically to seal in the ingredients and create the distinctive shape – perfect for busy earthlings on the go. On the menu, you’ll find four meat and vegan burgers to choose from, four dessert variants, sides, dips and drinks, plus Outer Space Burger is offering meal deals ranging from just £12.95.
The Outer Space Burger menu includes the likes of the classic Double Cheese Burger featuring a double patty, cheese, burger sauce, pickle and diced onion and UFO Vegan Burger consisting of pulled shitake mushroom in a Korean BBQ sauce with kimchi, sesame, spring onions and vegan garlic mayo. And for those who prefer chicken there’s the UFO Chicken Burger with Kentucky style breaded chicken fillet, garlic mayo and shredded lettuce or Flamin Hot Chicken Burger comprised of Kentucky style breaded chicken fillet smothered in Louisana hot sauce, chipotle mayo, pickled jalapenos and shredded lettuce.
To accompany your UFO-shaped burger, you can munch on fried potato goodness in the form of ‘Moon Rocks’– similar to tater tots but make them inter-galactic. There are even UFO-shaped desserts like Apple Pie and Cherry Pie complete with fruit compote and custard (vegan custard also available), PBJ UFO filled with peanut butter, strawberry jam and marshmallow and S’mores UFO filled with Nutella, Biscoff and marshmallow.
