Set against the backdrop of magical moments from the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, two landmark events will combine the worlds of music, entertainment and sport to celebrate our Olympians and Paralympians in Manchester. Hosted by Emma Willis and Vernon Kay, the homecoming show, which will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer in August, promises to be a golden celebration as the Olympic Team GB return, and the whole huge event will be held at the AO Arena in Manchester.
The show will see high-profile performances and unique collaborations, stunning production and staging, as well as appearances from well-known faces from the world of sport. Featuring a stellar line-up of iconic UK artists, including Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne, Pete Tong and Rag’n’Bone Man, the show will be a moment for the nation to party alongside the athletes and celebrate their incredible achievements, dedication and passion.
Bringing the nation together in welcoming home our Olympic athletes, The National Lottery’s Team GB Homecoming show will take place on Saturday 17 August at the AO Arena, Manchester with lucky National Lottery players in attendance to celebrate our heroes.
National Lottery players have the opportunity to enter a ballot to win a pair of free tickets as a thank you for powering Team GB and Paralympics GB to success since National Lottery funding into elite sport began in 1997, since which Team GB has never fallen out of the top ten in the medal table, and was fourth in the 2020 Tokyo Games, winning a stunning 22 golds.
TV presenter and host Vernon Kay said: “I have seen first-hand how amazingly dedicated and talented our athletes are and the difference the support of National Lottery players makes to their ability to be the best they can be.

The ballot for The National Lottery’s Team GB Olympic Homecoming show is now open here, with 6,000 tickets up for grabs. Those entering for tickets will be required to confirm they have a National Lottery ticket that they can present on the day of the event.
