Here at Secret Manchester, we like to think of ourselves as connoisseurs of a good Margarita – there’s nothing about the heavenly mixture of tequila, triple sec, and lime juice that we don’t love. We’re also always up for tasting the best that Manchester has to offer, so here’s our run-down of the best Margaritas in Manchester to help you celebrate this February 22, AKA National Margarita Day!
1. Ramona and The Firehouse
Being a Margarita bar by nature, of course Ramona knows how to do a good Marg. Their natural wild spirits bar is inspired by Latin American tipples like Tequila, Mezcal, Pisco and Cachaca, and they’re passionate about good food and drink. If you pop along, it might be an idea to line your stomach first with some of Ramona’s indulgent stone baked pizzas – they’re amazing!
Ramona and The Firehouse, 40 Swan St, Manchester, M4 5JG.
2. Crazy Pedro’s
Crazy Ped’s is always a go-to when it comes to casual Margs with mates, and it always delivers. With many of their Margs being frozen, Crazy Pedro’s is particularly great in the summer, but is also a treat any time of year to wash down a kooky pizza creation. Ped’s also does a Tommy’s Margarita, with added agave, and a twist on the classic with a Mezcal Margarita, keeping it classic with a tweak or two. Whether you’re a purist and prefer a classic frozen Margarita, or willing to try the strawberry, Woo Woo, or Twista flavour, there’s something for everyone.
Crazy Pedro’s, 55-57 Bridge Street, Manchester, M3 3BQ | 1 Short Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester, M4 1AA.
3. Pico’s Tacos
A favourite at both Mackie Mayor in Manchester and sister food hall Altrincham Market, Pico’s Tacos does Margaritas street food style. The batch-made Margs are poured from a slush machine, making sure you get the perfect icy cold mixture on tap every time, with beautiful garnish and salt rim. Then you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the social food hall environment with friends.
