Online retailer GeekCore has created a Christmas jumper in partnership with I Love MCR.
Christmas jumpers have become the ultimate form of seasonal self-expression and this year, GeekCore is helping Mancunians (and honourary Mancs) get in the festive spirit while supporting local charities with the I Love MCR charity Christmas jumper.
The jumper features a Christmas tree built with 22 bees, on a gold background. A spokesman for GeekCore said 100 per cent of the profits from the Manchester Bee Christmas Jumper will be donated to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, the We Love MCR Charity and the Barnabus Manchester Charity.
The spokesman said:
“Following the tragic events in Manchester last year, the Geekcore team thought long and hard about designing a jumper that not only paid tribute to the 22 innocent victims who sadly lost their lives, but to create a jumper that everyone in Manchester could wear with solidarity and with real Mancunian pride.
“We wanted to create a jumper that symbolised Manchester’s solidarity, it’s people’s love for one another, it’s resilience, it’s strength and of course it’s strong sense of community. We design and stock jumpers of all types, but this one is really special. This is a jumper for Manchester.”
The jumpers are priced at £32.99 and are available here.
