Dreaming of a holiday? Well you needn’t have to go far as Caribbean coconut rum brand Malibu is bringing the beach to Manchester. Launching a pop-up tropical terrace known as Malibu Beach Club this May in Manchester, visitors can feel like they’re on their holibobs with a cocktail in hand no less.
Situated at Great Northern Square, the Malibu Beach Club is decked out with palm trees, colourful deck chairs, holiday vibes and ‘Malibu moment’ photo opportunities. The Malibu Beach Club is a collaboration with the Caribbean coconut rum brand and Manchester’s retro gaming bar Pong & Puck, and will be taking over their terrace from May 5 until September 30.
Alongside beach-themed décor, guests can also expect live DJs, frozen cocktails, summer spirits, and a large, Malibu inspired shot menu. Sip on cocktails such as the classic Piña Colada (of course!) and Miami Vice amongst many other delicious fruity and fun serves, including a coconut twist on the classics.
Plus, a happy hour will take place at the Malibu Beach Club in Manchester between Sunday and Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, which can be enjoyed alongside pizza with toppings like mushroom and truffle to Hawaiian. Those wanting to make the most of the holiday vibes can enjoy bottomless brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, including frozé cocktails, selected house cocktails and more.
Everyone knows it’s not always sunny in Manchester, but that’s no excuse for stopping the party as the Malibu Beach Club has got you covered (quite literally). The pop-up tropical terrace is both heated and covered, so the holiday fun can continue no matter the weather.
The Malibu Beach Club will officially launch on May 5 and end on September 30 opening Wednesdays and Thursdays – 3-11pm, Fridays and Saturday 12-11pm, and Sundays 12-8pm.
