After a hugely successful two week pop-up at Kampus to test the waters, alcohol-free pop-up bar experience Love From has agreed a three month residency from January to March 2024, following a pop-up bar at Kampus’ new General Store. Love From is set to host a series of alcohol-free events for those who are off the booze, sober-curious or just looking for something outside of their norm to try at Kampus.
Founded by Karl Considine, host and founder of ‘What Next’ podcast, the space aims to provide all the buzz of being in an amazing bar without the alcohol, hosting queer disco nights and casual alcohol-free drinking opportunities in a bar environment.
In an Instagram post announcing the Love From three month residency at Kampus, founder Karl Considine wrote: “Thank you to every single person that came to see us, your support means the world!✨ Much more to come but wanted to share the news this morning as I’ve been bursting! Lots of exciting things ahead💜 Our mission to redefine perceptions of alcohol-free is just getting started🚀.”
Love From has also teamed up with the wonderful the brand new Kampus General Store for a festive alcohol-free pop up bar, where visitors can expect delicious festive cocktails, alcohol-free mulled wine and maybe even a mince pie or two.
Opening on December 1 seeing you right through Christmas to New Year’s Eve, the Love From pop-up will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, 1pm to 10pm, so you can get your Love From fix whilst they get set up for the residency.
Love From joins Kampus neighbours such as Nell’s Pizza, Great North Pie Co. and Red Light, and will take over the central space that is currently occupied by the festivities of Bar Hütte. Love From will also boast a brand new drinks menu with more choices and returning favourites like ‘This Barbie Doesn’t Drink‘ and ‘No Pornie, No Crime‘.
Keep an eye out for updates on the Love From Instagram page, and happy alcohol-free drinking!
