The adaptive venue, hidden in plain sight on Dantzic Street, behind Manchester’s landmark N.O.M.A. and a short 10-minute walk from Manchester Victoria, is set to be the city’s brand-new cultural destination. Opening its door this Winter, the Love Factory x Qatar World Cup 2022 will see the action play out on the huge indoor central screen alongside additional projectors throughout the venue – where all guests, no matter where they are sat, will have a perfect, uninterrupted view.
In collaboration with Carling Brewery, the Official Carling Fan Zone will take over the cavernous warehouse alongside general seating. Alternatively, guests can catch the action from the dedicated singing terraces – a standing area as an ode to the days when the grounds rarely had seating.
Wherever guests choose to base themselves, all zones are in easy reach of an extensive food and drink selection from leading North West independent traders, including Ate Days A Week – home of the city’s best award-winning handmade pies. Ate Days A Week will be serving special rotating pie menu made for different countries playing and pies are the perfect way to complete the football experience. Plus, more traders will be announced soon.
For those who would like to experience the World Cup as a group, the hospitality boxes located on the mezzanine are perfect for group hire. The hospitality boxes come kitted-out with state-of-the-art flatscreens and fine-tuned sound systems – where guests can experience every goal, counter-attack and last-minute tackle in crystal detail, and feel the atmosphere direct from the grounds. Food and drink packages will be available and delivered fresh to your box for complete privacy in the lap of luxury.
Pushing boundaries beyond the usual screening, Love Factory x Qatar World Cup 2022 will host live halftime punditry and commentators from talkSPORT providing site-specific match commentary for a genuine one-off experience. Transformed into football heaven, Love Factory will have unique touchpoints and house exclusive items such as Copa 90 boot, classic football shirts worn by the world’s most legendary squads, archive images, rare posters. Classic Football shirts will be showcasing a curated collection of World Cup jerseys including England match worn shirts including 1990 Home, 1998 Home and many more.
