I’m gonna say it. TV doesn’t quite hit the same way it used to. But there is a handful of shows that remain steadfast for we millennials still on the cusp of broadcast TV and streaming – one of which is Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer’s Location, Location, Location.
If you haven’t watched it already (which I’d find highly surprising given it has been running for a whopping 40 series and a long 24 years), the premise of the show follows couples on the hunt to find their dream home, which, of course, property experts Kirstie and Phil are on-hand to help with. The duo come up with an array of properties to show the prospective buyers, who often times settle down in a new home with a happy ending by the time the credits roll. Now, producers are coming to Manchester, and they’re on the hunt for prospective buyers to come on the show.
Announcing the news on their official Instagram profile, the Location, Location, Location casting call states that Kirsty and Phil will be helping buyers both in and around the Manchester area, welcoming all budgets and backgrounds for the new episodes – so long as applicants are chain-free (because nobody wants to watch the tedious, long and often dramatic process of getting through a chain).
The casting reads: “Property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are now casting for the 2024 series of Location Location Location.
“They’ll be pounding the pavements and beating the streets to find the perfect homes for those who need help. Upsizing, downsizing, first timers, or those looking for a forever home, there’s nobody better than Kirstie and Phil when it comes to finding and securing your perfect pad.”
Naturally, producers are expecting a ton of applicants for the series, however, to help you stand out from the crowd, you can submit photos and videos, telling Kirstie and Phil why they should help you hunt for your new Manchester home on the Location, Location, Location application form here.
Location, Location, Location is currently airing weekly on Wednesday at 8pm, Channel 4.
