With the most iconic girl bands of all time, The Spice Girls, heading to Manchester at the end of May, Ivy Asia, the opulent bar and restaurant situated on the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, will host a 90’s themed Ivy Asia Sunday Series, a monthly instalment of DJs, cocktails, sharing dishes and themed entertainment.
Taking place tomorrow (May 5), guests dining in Ivy Asia will be treated to the very best of the decade with a special nod to the Spice Girls from 12pm to 6pm. Ivy Asia’s Sunday Series sees a host of dedicated DJs and dancers in the restaurant, providing live in-house entertainment for diners during the event, and creating the ultimate party atmosphere.
Kicking off the proceedings, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of Bottega Gold, before enjoying drinks from an exclusive cocktail list – House of Santory Exclusive Cocktails – including the brand new Haku vodka made with white rice and filtered through bamboo charcoal.
Ivy Asia Sunday Series presents the 90’s is the second of the restaurant’s monthly Sunday Sessions, with more to be revealed throughout the year.
Ivy Asia, exclusive to Manchester, serves Asian-inspired cocktails alongside sharing dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing.
The entire floor is illuminated with a show-stopping emerald green, semi-precious stone floor, set against a striking antique gold mirrored bar, and gold-gilt ceiling. The restaurant’s stunning Geisha Room, a private dining space with bespoke mirrored artwork, is also available to hire for extra special events throughout the year.
