Irlam Live returns this June for its seventh year with a nostalgic line-up. Taking place at Prince’s Park on 2nd – 4th June, the festival includes the best of 80s, 90s and 2000s talent, making it a wild and wonderful weekend for all the family, with the best singalong tunes!
Headliners for this year include Heather Small, Blue, Martin Kemp with his Back To The 80’s DJ Set, Toyah, Mark Shaw (Then Jerico), The Lottery Winners, Abz from 5ive, Ben from Phats & Small, Brutus Gold’s Love Train and lots, lots more kicking off on Friday 2nd June, where they have a full day of fun for the whole family including a host of the UK’s finest tribute bands.
The structure of the weekend is as follows:
Friday 2nd June: Friday generally has an indie feel. Irlam Live has the UK’s leading Oasis tribute band NOASIS headlining the main stage, and making a return from last year is the fantastic Queen tribute ‘Now I’m Here‘, plus the fab Gerry Cinnamon Experience. More acts are to be announced in due course.
Saturday 3rd June: The festival has announced Blue as their Saturday headliner, plus Martin Kemp and his fantastic ‘Back To The 80s‘ DJ set. Mark Shaw and Then Jerico will also be playing live, as well as Irlam Live regulars Abz Love from 5ive and Ben form Phats & Small. Northern Soul Train will also be keeping the vibes groovy with a live set, taking those who remember back to the 70s, where the north was so involved in the soul music scene.
Sunday 4th June: Playing the main stage is the one and only Heather Small with her full live band. All the hits, non-stop dancing – what a way to close the festival. Also playing are The Lottery Winners who have just completed their first UK sell-out tour and we are so pleased to have them at Irlam Live. Tom Hindley, the voice on all the Inspiral Carpets’ hits, will also be putting on a show, and 80s star Toyah will play for the first time since 2018.
As well as another stage for grassroots acts to gain new fans, there will be lots going on off-stage too. There will be a funfair, princesses and superhero walkabouts, Bubbleologist, street ping-pong and pop-up silent discos.
