This Friday, British soul superstar Heather Small will perform an incredible concert, filling the gorgeously Gothic venue of Manchester Cathedral with her distinctive vocals – and there are just a few tickets left. Manchester’s neo-soul/RnB band, Lovescene, will also take to the stage on the night.
Famed for her decade-long success in the 90s as lead vocalist of dance group M People, and her own solo success that followed, it goes without saying that the event, which will take place on May 26, will be an unforgettable night.
A night to remember: Heather Small concert
After performances from Lovescene, Heather Small will perform some of her most notable hits from her time in M People and her solo stint at this Manchester concert. Fans will recall the likes of One Night In Heaven, Moving On Up, and of course, Proud; in the 90s and 00s, Small sold over 10 million records worldwide, performing in countless venues all over the globe.
The concert will be hosted by the team behind Manchester 360º; they are well-versed in putting on incredible music events that cover an array of genres. They specialise in events at unique venues, and you can’t get more unique than a concert in a historical cathedral! As the warm-up acts and Heather Small perform, the stained glass windows will be illuminated by incredible stage production – your eyes and ears will be treated to something really special.
The doors open at 6pm, and crowds can enjoy performances from Lovescene, before Heather Small takes to the stage for her set. The concert garnered a lot of interest when first announced, so we know it’ll be an unforgetable night.
