It’s easy to feel down in the dumps once the Christmas lights are no more and the trees get chucked, but how about getting a head start on your New Year’s resolutions with some wellness, courtesy of Manchester street food giants GRUB?
Organised by some of Manchester’s favourite independent businesses, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th January will see an array of activities to make you feel so much better. Whether meandering through a sustainable wellness market is your thing, picking up bits and bobs along the way, or if you’re a budding alchemist wanting to make your own kombucha (happy gut = happy life), this wellbeing weekender of guilt-free fun at GRUB could be right up your street.
If physical activity floats your boat, Chloe the ‘Manc Yogi’ is here to sooth, bright and early (for Sunday morning) at 11am, with a later class at 3pm. Hop over for a dip in Utopia Well-Being’s sound bath for a full body, or out-of-body, experience, complete with crystal sound bowls, gongs and chimes.
Over in the arts and crafts corner, take your pick from macrame dreamcatcher masterclasses, Floating Art’s Japanese painting workshop, or get the kids involved with the children’s pizza school and pot painting, guaranteed to prompt vivid imaginations, both grown-up and not.
With all of this and more set to the backdrop of Manchester’s thriving Green Quarter, you can be sure of a wonderful wellbeing weekender, where your imagination will run wild, setting you up for the year ahead in the most positive light.
You can find the GRUB Wellbeing Weekender at Red Bank Project, 50 Red Bank, Manchester, M4 4HF. More information here.
