Now, in a city like Manchester, we’re not exactly short of fantastic places to enjoy vegan pizza. But as creatures of convenience, we can most certainly rejoice in the news that we’ll soon be able to find plenty of it all under one roof. Saving us from trekking across the city in hunt of the perfect plant-based pizza, GRUB MCR will be hosting an array of fantastic vegan vendors this May, who’ll each be whipping up some fantastic pizzas in all varieties for us to enjoy.
Taking place on May 29th, the likes of Four Side Vegan Pizza, Lucky Mama’s and Paradiso Authentic Italian will be coming together for the occasion, each putting their own spin on the classic Italian dish. The festival has been incredibly popular in the past, understandably so, and organisers at GRUB MCR expect it to book out pretty quickly this time around, too.
What’s on offer this time?
Bakehouse32 will be joining this year’s roster with their NYC-inspired pizzas, with plentiful toppings and beautifully puffy crusts, alongside Manc-loved Four Side Vegan Pizza who’ll be cooking up their delicious Detroit-style Foccacia-like pizzas at the festival. Lucky Mama’s will be covering things from a traditional Roman perspective, serving their unbelievable square pizzas with wonderfully crispy crusts, while Marley’s will be on-hand with Neapolitan pizzas and Paradiso with the most amazing Italian desserts up their sleeves.
Queues are expected around the block again just like last time, however, you can book a table here to avoid missing out.
