Unwind at Manchester’s very own beach club.
Found yourself relating to every single meme about your back being so hunched over, only a JCB mowing over it could fix it? I feel ya. It’s been a year-long journey to becoming live-action versions of Quasimodo, but as we enter life post-lockdown, it’s probably time to get our shit together. Starting with a little ‘Flex on the Beach’.
Coming to the Great Northern Beach Club this month, those in need of a good old stretch can escape the world for a while within the Sunset Lounge’s mambo-inspired venue that’s sure to bring those well-needed island vibes this summer. Close your eyes, imagine the sea breeze running through your hair, and pretend to be anywhere but Manchester for a little while.
Helping us to loosen up a little every week, Alexis of Flex Yoga will be on hand each Sunday with a relaxing yoga session – helping us to stretch away that lockdown stress and reset our bodies after months of working from home.
Alexis is an absolute pro in the field, with over twenty years of experience and expertise lying in Hatha/vinyasa, yin, breathwork, and meditation. Basically, she really knows her stuff.
Starting on June 20th at 10am and taking place every Sunday thereafter, tickets cost just £10pp – with each ticket including a refreshing Number 1 Coconut vitamin water, plus 10% off goodies from Alex’s Bakery. And, of course, once you’re all stretched out for the day, you can enjoy the summery venue for all it has to offer – including its tasty frozen cocktails and welcoming beach huts.
The Great Northern Beach Club can be found at Great Northern Square, 235 Deansgate, M3 4EN and to book a place, simply email hello@greatnorthernbeachclub.
