Gooey has found a new home.
Departing from original home nestled between Wilson’s Social and The Corner Boy, Gooey has fled the nest – taking up residence at the recently rebranded Ducie Street Warehouse – formerly known as CULTUREPLEX.
Founded by Jake Ansbro and Patrick Brown of EATMCR and Sax Arshad of The Zanna Group, the little bakery had limited time to put themselves on the map before the pandemic hit the UK – however, they’ve been successfully providing their delicious fresh bakes to locals throughout lockdown with their very own delivery service. Now, local fans can flock to the brand new kiosk and enjoy their cookie and doughnuts that are made fresh every single day.
Launching this week on July 18th, Gooey will be permanently situated at the entrance of Ducie Street Warehouse – allowing guests to pop in and purchase on the spot, or pre-order for collection whenever they choose. In addition to their very own kiosk, the bakes will also be served at Ducie Street Warehouse’s ground floor cafe, Counter, where they can be enjoyed in the lounge with a hot beverage.
