Whopping kebabs are coming to Fallowfield.
Following the success of their two Greater Manchester sites in Oldham and Stockport, German Doner Kebab has snapped up a new Manchester location – this time, taking over the former Revolution building in Fallowfield.
The kebab chain, which launched back in 1989 in Berlin itself, has become well-known for its ‘healthier’ kebabs, which are made with a fluffy, waffled pitta, beef and chicken – rather than the more traditional (and less lean) lamb doner. Cut into doner-style ribbons, the beef kebab closely replicates the post-night out flavours we Mancs know and love already, however, cut down the calories and fat thanks to its fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Elsewhere on the menu, guests can enjoy creative dishes such as doner nachos, doner quesadillas and even doner spring rolls.
Daniel Bunce, GDK MD for UK and Europe, said: “We’re delighted to officially announce plans to bring the German Doner Kebab experience to Fallowfield, Manchester.
“Our game-changing kebabs are revolutionising the kebab in the UK and we are excited to be bringing a new fast-casual experience to the area, offering great tasting fresh food in a relaxed and modern setting.”
There is currently no opening date, however, the new restaurant and takeaway is currently set to open sometime in July.
