Start your engines as this weekend will see the return of the British Grand Prix and Mancs can even feel like they’re on the Silverstone circuit for themselves without leaving the city. You can watch all the race action at ‘OKX Grand Prix Club’, a fanzone for the British Grand Prix hosted by McLaren and OKX, a Web3 technology company and primary partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
Taking place at Manchester’s entertainment and food and drink hub Freight Island, the fanzone is hosted across the full race weekend from Friday 7th July until Sunday 9th July. More than a watch party, OKX and McLaren, are set to host an array of activities for fans of Formula 1 to enjoy together.
Plus, as well as watching the race, Formula 1 fans will be able to try their skills on a race simulator, get the chance to win prizes such as signed merchandise and exclusive tours of the McLaren Technology Centre. Alongside this, the fanzone features Insta-ready podium display including driver’s helmet and trophies as well as the McLaren F1 overall-clad mannequin.
Fans will also get the chance to glimpse the Alain Prost 1985 Silverstone GP first place trophy up close throughout the weekend. Displays of cherished McLaren memorabilia, including Lando Norris’ driver overalls and helmet, as well as car parts, will also be featured.
