We’re pretty well-versed in a good festival in Manchester, with a focus on music, food and family fun. One area that isn’t so often talked about is farming, and one farming festival that is leading the way in Greater Manchester is Fields to Fork, which takes place annually at Stockport’s Whitebottom Farm.
Fields to Fork Festival is a celebration of Britain’s countryside, its exceptional produce, and its vibrant culture, all just a stone’s throw from the city centre in Stockport. Taking place on early May bank holiday weekend (3rd-4th May) this year, this is an event for everyone who loves great food, stunning scenery, and the charm of rural living.

Immerse yourself in a festival that champions British produce, embraces sustainable practices, and brings together people who share a passion for country life. Held at the picturesque Whitebottom Farm, this unique event is home to over 80 Hawkstone beer taps, the most in the UK, ensuring guests enjoy the best locally sourced beverages in a lively festival atmosphere – perfect for a day with friends or family.
The festival centrepiece, the Blok Live Fire Cooking Stage, features award-winning and Michelin-starred chefs like Great British Menu judges Lisa Goodwin-Allen and Aktar Islam showcasing British ingredients through spectacular live demonstrations. Expect gourmet experiences, lively music, and a celebration of everything that makes rural Britain special. Over on the main stage, the line-up will feature music from homegrown and grassroots talent, all under cover in a rustic barn setting, making for the perfect early summer evening vibe.

Fields to Fork is ultimately about connecting people to the countryside, celebrating traditions, and looking ahead to the future of sustainable living – and with so much farmland in our region, it’s only right to explore and celebrate the culture.
All that’s left is to hope for as much sunshine as possible, and to get tickets ahead of time here.
Fields to Fork Festival takes place on 3rd – 4th May 2025.
