Enjoy a memorable evening of food, drinks and entertainment as the city lights glide by.
With the cold weather setting in, the temptation is to stay in and bask in the glow of your fairy lights, but then you’d miss out on all the wonderfully festive events happening in Manchester over Christmas. ‘Tis the season for throwing on your cosiest coat, getting out and making the most of the gorgeous winter nights with an evening river cruise.
The three-hour showboat evening cruise will take place on December 16 and 20 on the River Irwell and Manchester Ship Canal. Guests will be able to celebrate the festive season with a drink and a dance with the city gliding past as their backdrop. And with some of Manchester’s top performers on board, passengers will be doing a jig in the aisles before the end of the trip.
Guests will be served a drink on arrival, followed by a special festive platter. The platter will include luxury canapes, antipasti and turkey and cranberry scotch eggs, along with ham hock terrine and chicken legs. There will also be a choice of a warm mince pie or patisserie served with cream for dessert, while drinks will be available to purchase from the onboard bars.
The cruise will take place on Sunday (December 16) from 6pm – 9pm and December 20 from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets are available from Fever, are priced at £40 per person and include food and a drink on arrival. The cruise will depart from Pier Eight The Quays, M50 3AZ. For more information click here.
