The cult café is back in action.
Closing its doors back in March as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Federal Café Bar has finally announced its grand return, and we’ve never craved the smell of sweet, sweet coffee more.
The Northern Quarter institute, which opened a second site on Deansgate just last year, previously launched a takeaway and delivery service for fans to continue enjoying their brunch classics before lockdown was enforced, however, had to close up shop following government orders. Now, the much-loved restaurant has found a safe way for Mancs to enjoy their grub, re-opening for business at its Northern Quarter venue.

Confirming the news across their social media channels, the announcement reads: “Hi folks… We’re busy getting ready for some takeaway & deliveroo action to start in the morning. keep an eye on our social channels for more details.”
Coffees, cocktails, baked treats and, of course, brunch dishes will all be available for delivery or takeaway, with the café teaming up with delivery partner Deliveroo to provide contact-free delivery during the UK lockdown.
The Northern Quarter venue will re-open on Bank Holiday Friday, May 8, from 8am-4pm, and can be found at 9 Nicholas Croft, M4 1EY.
