A Christmas market celebrating the North West’s small businesses is coming to Manchester.
The Etsy Made Local Market will provide anyone who wants to do their Christmas shopping differently with a one-stop shop for original present buying, made by local artisans and artists. The market will give shoppers the opportunity to buy from the sellers directly, meeting the makers and seeing their products in the flesh, as well as uncovering a treasure trove of potential gifts.
The People’s History Museum’s Grade II listed EdwardianEngine Hall will be the festive setting for the market, with stalls extending out into Processional Way. On entry, shoppers will be given a taste of the goods on offer as they are greeted by a spectacular Christmas tree, adorned with an array of bespoke Christmas decorations lovingly created by Etsy Manchester’s makers and designers.
The market will be open from 10am to 4pm from November 30 until December 2, and an evening Winter Warmer will also be open from 5pm to 8pm, when festive shopping will be accompanied by the glorious sound of carols sung live by Manchester’s own She Choir. There will also be live entertainment across the weekend and pop-up workshops taking place with the makers.
Entry is free. For more information visit the market website.
