Halloween is creeping up on us and to add to the spine-chilling events taking place across Manchester, the Northern Quarter spot Ducie Street Warehouse has some spooky events to make you jump. Jump up and dance, that is! And jump in your seat as well…
Running from Friday 28th until Sunday 30th October, the warehouse will host a series of Halloween events, with something for everyone. Kicking off the spooky weekend on October 28, BBC Radio 2 presenter and DJ, Scott Mills, will headline the lounge for a Halloween party running from 5pm to 1am, supported by Manchester’s DJs legends Mix-Stress, Jenna G and Zeyla. Plus, you can expect a live performance from the talented Cequin Circus crew.
And on October 29, you can stomp or sashay your way to Ducie Street Warehouse’s restaurant where it will be hosting its famous disco brunch with a special Halloween theme called the ‘Dead Drag Disco Brunch’. The brunch will be hosted from 11am until 4pm with Danielle Moore heading up the decks, accompanied by the finest drag performances from the likes of The Niallist, Liquorice Black, Anna Phylactic, Chastity Stone and more.
Finishing off the Halloween weekend on a high, on October 30 will see a spooktastic family fun day for kids to enjoy complimentary Trick or Treat in the warehouse. Also happening at the Mini Cini, is a special Halloween edition of Pawpcorn.
Designed for dogs as the audience, the 36-seat cinema space will be adjusted with lower sounds, more lit lighting and toilet breaks to suit every dog’s needs. Pawpcorn, which is free for furry guests and priced at £10 per person, will be showing the cheesy animated thriller Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit on the big screen.
