It’s one of the little things in life, isn’t it? Snuggling up with your dog in front of a wholesome movie, just being all-round best buds? Quite frankly, it’s an absolute travesty that we haven’t been able to take our movie buddies to the cinema before – until now, that is.
Bringing back their Pawpcorn sessions at their Mini Cini for International Dog Day (August 26), Ducie Street Warehouse in Manchester has taken ‘dog-friendly’ to a whole new level – allowing pups to join their owners for a heart-warming cinema date, with a canine-themed movie in store for dogs and their hoomans to enjoy together.
On Friday 26th August at 12pm, the warehouse will screen the animated adventure-comedy film Scooby-Doo, released back in 2002, and guests will be able to enjoy the four-legged classic for free (both pooches and hoomans), for one day only as the usual Pawpcorn sesssions are just £5pp and free for dogs. And there will be free Scooby snacks provided for your furry friends, courtesy of Denzel’s, a brand based in the UK creating healthy, sustainable snacks for dogs.
Plus, above the ground floor of Ducie Street Warehouse, hotel Native Manchester has teamed up with Denzel’s to create the perfect overnight stay for its furry guests. Native will be kitting out rooms with bespoke dog beds, towels, bowls and treats as well as giving guests a Denzel’s discount to spend on its 100% natural, low-calorie dog snack favourites such as protein bars and nut butters.
The dog-friendly cinema in Manchester also seats only 36 guests, too, allowing for a more intimate cinema experience alongside fellow local dog owners. Sound like the perfect hooman and hound date night? Get tickets here.
