What a time to be alive.
For those of us with a sweet-tooth, Easter is like a second Christmas which sees our Aprils sprinkled with a variety of chocolate goodies from the classic egg to extravagant desserts.
And this year, the team at Northern Quarter-based chicken shop, Yard and Coop, have come up with an hen-credible twist on a classic Easter treat.
From April 17 – 22 they’ll be deep frying Creme Eggs to create the perfect parcel of chocolatey oozing fondant, wrapped in a crispy batter shell, all for just £3!
The chicken shop will also be launching a special Easter burger which features a hot cross bun stuffed with two buttermilk fried chicken thighs, bacon, fried onions, adobo mayo and a fried egg. Oh and its garnished with a crème egg.
The Hot Cross Burger will be available between April 17 – 22 and will be priced at £14.
