The annual event will feature Manchester’s leading bars including Arcane, Cottonopolis, Harvey Nichols and Science and Industry, all within short sipping distance of each other. The bars will deliver showstopping cocktails, one-off signature serves and the latest innovations in taste and flavour, all in an attempt to win the hearts and votes of festival-goers, as they compete to be crowned best cocktail bar.

Guests will also be given a lesson in cocktail history, as bartenders will be serving up cocktails throughout the ages, drawing from the four distinct eras of cocktail development. The bars will be taking inspiration from the decadent Belle Epoque period of the late 1800’s, the speakeasy cocktails of the prohibition period, retro and disco drinks of the 1960’s to 80’s and finishing with very modern and futuristic style concoctions.
