Master the fine art of whisky blending
Nothing says luxury like a well-blended whisky, so it would make sense to hold a whisky blending experience in one of Manchester’s most lavish restaurants. Grand Pacific in Manchester’s Spring Gardens, pays homage to the golden age of high society and is the home of exotic cuisine and sophisticated sipping in the city, making it a favourite among visitors and locals alike.
And throughout March, Grand Pacific will play host to the return of The Blend by Chivas. Boasting opulent interiors inspired by the age of exploration, the decadent restaurant is the perfect spot for spirit-lovers to try their hand at mastering the fine art of whisky blending.
Following last year’s hugely popular whisky-blending sessions The Blend by Chivas is back in a new venue where whisky-lovers will have the chance to learn the ins and outs of the spirit before creating their own, bespoke bottle.
The masterclass will give those taking part the chance to learn from a Chivas industry expert while nosing and tasting five different variations of whisky. After which, participants will be given the opportunity to test their new-found knowledge by mixing up their own 200ml bottle, ready to be enjoyed at home.
The Blend by Chivas sessions will be taking place every Wednesday throughout March. And once attendees have finished creating their own top-notch spirit, they’ll be able to wander down to the bar to enjoy the rest of Chivas’ offerings.
Tickets for The Blend by Chivas in Manchester cost £10 early bird or £15 general admission and can be bought here. The Blend by Chivas will take place at Grand Pacific in Spring Gardens every Wednesday between March 6 and 27. Grand Pacific is at: 50 Spring Gardens. Manchester, M2 1EN. 18+ only. Please drink responsibly.
