Blossoms are set to perform an intimate gig in Manchester this August to mark 10 years since the release of their debut album. The Stockport band will return to the iconic local venue of The Deaf Institute in Manchester for a one-off performance on August 5.
The news follows the band’s arena tour announcement, with shows taking place later this year, including one at Co-op Live on November 28. In addition to their tour, Blossoms, consisting of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock, announced their sixth studio album, Songs From The Wedding Cake, last month.
The gig at the 250-capacity venue will see the band perform their debut album in full, and it will be recorded for inclusion in a special-edition double CD of their new album. The Blossoms show will be a full-circle moment for the band as it marks precisely 10 years since their first album dropped, featuring hit tracks like Charlemagne, At Most a Kiss, and Honey Sweet.
Announcing the intimate gig on social media, Blossoms said: “We’re playing an intimate gig at The Deaf Institute on Weds 5th August to celebrate 10 years of our debut album!
