Up for the adventure?
Set in the heart of Cheshire, a brand new £5 million adventure park is coming to the North West. Based on the BeWILDerwood book series by Tom Blofeld, the first adventure site opened in Norfolk over 13 years ago. Previously scheduled to open in May 2020 (which was affected by Coronavirus), BeWILDerwood Chesire will now open on April 12, allowing guests to run ‘WILD’ in their 70-acres of forest, with over ten giant structures to choose from.
The park features a number of sustainable wood features, from aerial ropewalks to climbing walls, balancing logs and mazes high up in the treetops. The unique park features no technology within its structures or rides either, so you can have fun the nostalgic way with the woodland’s incredibly crafted structures that complement the surroundings.
The Norfolk site has proven incredibly successful in its 13 years, and with that in mind, the new site is expected to attract 300,000 visitors each year.
Author and BeWILDerwood founder Tom said of the original 2020 launch:
“Following the success of our Norfolk site which has been bringing joy to families for over 13 years now, we are thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for BeWILDerwood Cheshire. It has been in development for 3 years following enormous customer demand, and we look forward to customers from all over the North-West of England, and further afield coming to our amazing new site.”
Continuing: “BeWILDerwood really is a breath of fresh air compared to other attractions, and we are unique in our approach to play, with no noisy rides, no electronics, and no junk food. We can’t wait until we open our Wonky Wooden Gates on May 23rd and welcome all of our loyal and new customers to the wonderful world of BeWILDerwood.”
BeWILDerwood officially opens its doors on April 12th 2021, and will be situated at BeWILDerwood Cheshire, Bickley Moss, Whitchurch, Cheshire, SY13 4JF. Tickets are priced between £9.50-£17.50pp when booked online here.
