This month, a Manchester hospitality venue is receiving the recognition it deserves after being included in the Inspectors’ latest additions to the Michelin Guide. And to make it more impressive, the independent Manchester cocktail bar Posie has received the prestigious accolade less than a year after opening its doors in November 2025.
Posie comes from the team behind acclaimed Manchester restaurant 10 Tib Lane and much-loved neighbourhood cocktail bar Henry C in Chorlton. It has quickly become a popular destination for innovative cocktails, wines, oysters and seasonal small plates in Manchester city centre.
What did the Michelin Guide say about Posie in Manchester?
In its listing, the Michelin Guide highlighted Posie’s extensive drinks offering, describing it as “a little more drink-driven” than its sibling venue (10 Tib Lane), with a global wine list featuring natural options alongside more than 30 classic and bespoke cocktails and mocktails. The guide also praised the venue’s food offering, noting that Posie takes its food seriously, with “plenty of flavour bursting out of the concise small-plates selection”. It also gives a shoutout to Posie’s signature Jersey oysters and the Guinness rarebit on toast with pickled cauliflower, while recognising the venue’s welcoming hospitality and world-class team.

Where to find Posie, opening times and how to book
Posie is tucked away just off Manchester’s Market Street, and it has a happy hour which runs from 12pm to 4pm, offering £8 aperitivo and £1 oysters. The bar is open Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 12am, and Sundays, 12pm to 10pm.
