Bada Bing is takin’ over.
If you’ve been hanging about Ancoats lately, you’ve probably spied the keen queues outside of Ancoats General Store. And if you’ve wondered what they’re for, we can assure you, it most definitely isn’t for some hipster milk laced with something obscure that everyone’s trying to get their hands on. It’s Bada Bing’s Sandwich Deli.
Launching just six months ago, sandwich entrepreneurs Sam and Meg have been taking Manchester’s foodie scene by storm, bringing packed New York-Italian-style hoagies to town that are filled to the brim with Italian deli meats such as gabagool, mortadella, Napoli salami, and so much more. And now, MediaCityUK dwellers and commuters can enjoy their whopping subs for lunch on the reg.
Launching just days ago in their very own Bada Bing Mobile, sub fans can enjoy a variety of huge sub-style sandwiches, including their signature ‘The Bing’, the Silvio, Muffuletta, Pollo Verde and Badabahn – all of which can be spied over on their hunger-inducing Instagram. Pitching up Thursday-Sunday 12 noon-4pm, the new Bing-Mobile can be found on the Piazza outside of the BBC, taking up a central spot for everyone to enjoy and find easily.
Speaking of the new location, co-owner Sam said: “We’re really excited to bring our Bada Bing concept to a new audience at MediaCity. Ancoats is our birthplace, so it’s great to be spreading our wings to a totally new location and customers. This time last year, while we watching all those episodes of The Sopranos, we never imagined we’d be serving up our creations in the heart of MediaCity. We’ve had a few dramas along the way but we’re now entering a really exciting phase.”
Bada Bing’s Bing-Mobile is open now, and you can also find them at Ancoats General Store.
