Originally starting as founder Andy Palmer’s personal 30-machine collection in Haslingden, Lancashire, this venue has grown into a premier gaming destination where every title is completely free to play once inside.
What to expect at Arcade Club in Bury
Arcade Club Bury at Ela Mill features over 1,000 machines spanning five decades of gaming, from 1970s classics to modern releases. Alongside iconic cabinet setups like the twin sit-down Outrun 2, rhythm titles, Versus City fighting cabs, and a dedicated pinball room, visitors can access retro consoles (N64, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PC Engine, Xbox), gaming PC rigs, VR setups, and unique attractions like a hurricane simulator.
The venue also features a gaming lounge, a fully-stocked bar, and a dining menu serving burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, and nachos. Dedicated to competitive play, Floor 2 houses networked PCs and a 185-inch broadcast stage, hosting regular esports tournaments in partnership with Bandai Namco and Manchester Battle Arena.
How much does it cost to visit?
No matter how long you choose to stay at Arcade Club Bury, entry costs £10 for children, £18 for adults and £46 for a family pass (two adults and two children). However, once inside all games are free to play, with no need for coins or tokens.
You can also become an Arcade Club VIP and purchase a monthly Arcade Club pass, which allows you to visit us as much as you like for one, two or three months. Monthly memberships start from £23 for children and £49 for adults.

Opening hours
During the summer holidays, the venue is open from 11am every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 24th July to 31st August. Outside of summer holidays, the arcade is open from 4pm until 11pm on Thursdays, 6pm until midnight on Fridays, 11am to 11pm on Saturdays and 11am to 8pm on Sundays. Visitors must be over 18 years old to visit on Friday evenings after 6pm.
How to get to Arcade Club in Bury
Arcade Club is a 17-minute walk from Bury Interchange, where buses and trams run to and from Manchester city centre. If travelling by car, the arcade is around a 30-minute drive from Manchester city centre and parking is available at Ela Mill for customers.
