Aldi Is On The Lookout For Tasters To Sample Wine For Free In Exchange For Reviews

By Jack Saddler

See yourself as something of a wine connoisseur?

Well, you could be in luck. Some free bottles courtesy of Aldi might be on their way to you. The supermarket chain is recruiting 30 wine tasters for the 24th edition of their wine club.

If successful, you will receive bottles on the house in exchange for a review of each sample. Reviewers will receive the bottles over a six-week period, and are instructed to write an honest review on social media using the tag #AldiWineClub.

Aldi will provide participants with tasting notes tips for judging the wine. The guides will include reviewing the aroma, flavours and body of the wine.

To get involved, email wineclub@aldi.co.uk and follow @AldiUK on Twiter. Let them know your Twitter handle, proof of age and 150 words explaining why you are perfect for the position.

Upon announcing the initiative, Aldi said: “Being part of the panel means that you’ll be the first to hear about our award-winning wines, and we’ll send you three delicious bottles from our range to try over a six week period.”

We’re sure you’re aware someone who would fit the bill for this to a tee. So, if it’s you or anyone you know, hit them up with wineclub@aldi.co.uk and you could be inundated with vino!
