Schloss Straße is here.
It’s an understatement to say that we’ve missed Schloss during the pandemic. Some of our favourite nights out are those that have resulted in far too many Bavarian beers, a drunken singalong with Schloss’ talented performers and a proper good boogie on the long tables (something that is more than encouraged at this particular Manchester institution).
But it’s so much more than a nighttime venue. In the day, the Alpine-themed venue becomes an atmospheric bar and restaurant, with an epic ‘Sunday Service’ taking place every week, which sees gospel choirs, jazz singers and DJs take to the stage to provide the sultry backdrop for enjoying their delicious Sunday roast – a roast, in which, we’d confidently describe as one of Manchester’s very best.
Now, after a long, long wait, Albert’s Schloss is back – with a new, Alpine-themed outdoor terrace where guests can get merry in the sunshine.
Seating up to 100 at the front of their decadent venue, Schloss Straße will be serving a summer-themed drinks menu for Mancs to enjoy outside, including fruity cocktails, Bavarian tap biers, and Schloss’ very own Manchester Rein.
To accompany, guests will also get to enjoy their Cook Haus delights again, with a number of Alpine-inspired dishes on the menu. Expect small plates such as meatballs and cambozola, garlic bread and hummus and flatbread, as well as classics including fish fritz and pan-fried Schnitzel. Cook Haus will also be serving a ‘sandwich of the week’, as well as a selection of burgers and wursts.
By night, the terrace will bring some of those familiar Schloss vibes we already know and love, with twinkling fairy lights providing a warming atmosphere, some of Manchester’s finest DJ’s taking over the Straße decks, the return of the venue’s famous Promenadors who’ll be dancing the night away, and more live entertainment from the venue’s roster of talented musicians.
Albert’s Schloss has a number of exciting developments up their sleeves for the outdoor terrace, including the return of their beloved Sunday Service – which is back this weekend with DJ Paulette providing the Sunday vibes.
Drinks bookings are available all day from 12-9:45pm and food bookings available from 12-9:15pm. Book your place here.
