Our popcorn chicken dreams have finally been answered!
Following a trial in Scotland last year, KFC has finally gifted the rest of us with their enormous 80-piece bucket of delicious popcorn chicken. That’s lunch sorted!
As expected by fast-food fans everywhere, the trial in Glasgow was a huge success, with the juicy bucket filled to the brim with the fan-fave mini pieces of succulent KFC fried chicken. The sharing bucket was introduced last October in a number of restaurants across Glasgow and provided customers with huge savings. A regular box of popcorn chicken costs £3.99 (unfortunately we don’t usually count how many pieces fit in there before we scoff them down with a giant tub of gravy), so for £5.99 it’s safe to say we’re definitely getting our monies worth with the whopping 80-piece bucket.
The brand new popcorn chicken bucket is being rolled out nationwide now, with KFC’s website confirming the £5.99 sharing bucket will be available for a limited time, leaving restaurants on 22 March.
To purchase the sharing bucket, customers will need to be signed up to the KFC app and Colonel’s Club loyalty scheme – a small price to pay for a whole lotta tastiness!
The bucket is recommended to share between four people, but we won’t judge if you scran the entire thing to yourself (because I’ll be doing the same!).
