Winter Wonderland is finally returning to Manchester this year, after four whole years away. A beloved annual event that attracted thousands every single year, the indoor Christmas theme park vanished from EventCity after its 2017 run, with the similar Winter Funland taking its place ever since.
But now, promising to return ‘bigger and better’ than ever before, fans can enjoy the original Winter Wonderland all over again, with the festive family festival returning to EventCity once again. Bringing fairground rides, tasty Bavarian grub and live theatre all under one roof, the family-friendly event is set to be the perfect way to enjoy the festive season this year, with plenty to see and do for all ages.
Speaking of the event’s return, organisers Tammy and Billy Silcock of Kingpin Events said: “We are absolutely delighted to be returning to Manchester this Christmas after a four-year gap, after the last 18 months we all need to create magical memories with our families, and we hope the return of the event will spread joy across the region.
“As a special thank you for the hard work of our NHS and Armed Forces we are introducing reduced ticket prices on specific days throughout the run.
“We have worked really hard to ensure that we bring back all the magic we had before as well as ensuring we create a safe space for our visitors, performers and staff. We recommend early booking to ensure you get a ticket.”
Running from December 4th-January 2nd, guests can expect more than 50 fairground rides, a number of theatrical shows, meet and greets with Santa Claus himself, tons of Bavarian food and drink stalls, and mulled wines and steins for the grown-ups to enjoy.
Tickets are on sale now (permitting four hours of entry and unlimited rides), and you can get yours here.
