We may have had the season for boozing but why not carry on the sipping and celebrating into 2023? After all, January is normally a little quiet. Luckily street food venue GRUB is here to brighten up the cold month with their annual Winter Beer Fest.
Taking place from January 20-22, the festival will bring together some of the best breweries in the UK, serving a selection of their best winter brews. Punters can expect pop-up brewery bars from Unbarred Brewery, Rivington Brewing Co, The Runaway Brewery and Squawk Brewing Co, plus over 30 guest taps from even more amazing breweries on the GRUB bars.
The street food destination located in the Green Quarter will also be running tasting events over the weekend, alongside an independent street food market, a mulling bar and more. You can also expect brewers’ video gaming, podcasts, beereoke and a special Fizzy Quizzy event too.
Winter Beer Fest will take place at GRUB over four sessions:
- Friday 20th January, 5pm – 11pm
- Saturday 21st January, 12 noon – 5pm
- Saturday 21st January, 6pm – 11pm
- Sunday 22nd January, 12 noon – 6pm
Tickets costs £6, which includes entry to the festival, access to the full range of beers including all the brewery bars and guest taps as well as a branded Winter Beer Festival glass to take home. Tickets are now live on GRUB’s website.
Just a short walk from Manchester Victoria station, GRUB boasts two floors of indoor seating, three bars, different events spaces hosting all types of events and not forgetting Manchester’s best kept secret beer garden. The street food hotspot, which food trader line-up rotates weekly, is also home to a unique independent cinema (Chapeltown Picture House) and performance space- perfect to cosy up in with some independent food and drink over the colder months.
