Missing Richard Hammond’s Saturday night favourite Total Wipeout? Well, you can now try it for yourself, but much closer to home. Delamere Forest is well-known for its beautiful walks and hefty dose of nature, not a million miles from Manchester − but adding to its allure is Wild Shore Delamere, the family aqua park boasting a huge obstacle course on water.
The aqua park is a giant floating playground of adventure, designed to provide you with a fun, safe and exhilarating experience, hosting a number of Ninja Warrior-style features. This includes a Tire Run, Ninja-Jump and Eagles Nest along with an epic 3.8m inflatable tower; Mount Rainier. It provides the perfect challenge of balance and nerve for a range of ages and abilities.
That’s not all either, because Wild Shore also boasts the brand new Aqua Chimp, a unique floating rope course packed full of fun and challenging elements, obstacles, rope swings and ziplines. There are no safety harnesses or restrictions, just the water below and endless opportunities for fun – but don’t worry, it’s suitable for all abilities with green, blue and red runs to match the participant’s ability.
Wild Shore also offers watersports including wakeboarding, paddleboarding and open-water swimming, as well as Ringo sessions. The wildly fun Ringo gives participants the chance to take turns in tearing up and down the lake on massive inflatables, feeling every bump and splash along the way!
These sessions can be the perfect added extra alongside the Aqua Park, Wake and Stand Up Paddleboard sessions, or just great fun on their own. Wild Shore Delamere guarantees that every participant leaves the aqua park soaking wet and with a giant smile on their face!
Wild Shore Delamere aqua park is open until October 27 2024, with specific days being announced soon here.
