A lovely gesture to our key workers.
One of Manchester’s loveliest hotels, Whitworth Locke, has announced a brand new partnership designed to reward our fantastic NHS workers, following a particularly turbulent year and a half for the country’s nurses, doctors and support workers.
Teaming up with Nights On Us for the generous campaign, the hotel is set to give away 30 free nights to a number of lucky NHS workers, with 15 being rewarded with a free two-night stay at the city centre hotel. Launched just last year during the pandemic, Nights On Us has so far awarded 7,000 free hotel rooms to NHS workers, making for the perfect ‘thank you’ for their hard work throughout the COVID-19 outbreak. Hotels so far have included Shangri-La, The Savoy, The Doyle Collection and The Dorchester, with Whitworth Locke now joining the roster of luxury hotels taking part.
Greg Früchtenicht, Co-Founder of Nights On Us said, “Since starting Nights On Us, our aim has always been to unite the UK hospitality industry to say a nationwide thank-you to our incredible NHS workers. Our partnership with Locke is testament to the goodwill and generosity that our industry can show to some of the country’s hardest workers. This is just the start of our partnership, and we’re excited to continue thanking our NHS workers throughout the rest of 2021 and beyond.”
Jamie Mackie, General Manager, Whitworth Locke, said, “Having looked after nurses and doctors from the Nightingale hospital throughout the pandemic at Whitworth Locke, we witnessed first hand the unwavering dedication of our NHS, so we are proud to partner with Nights On Us to offer free stays as a small gesture of thanks for their efforts during the pandemic – and far beyond.”
Open to NHS workers only, those interested in bagging a free stay at Whitworth Locke can easily enter via their website here, however, an NHS email address is required to be considered for the prize. Find out more here.
