Love Whisky? Love Live music? This is the festival for you.
The Whiskey Jar, a beautifully restored old textile mill in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, will host a tasting festival on June 30 and July 28.
Organisers will be working with whisky specialists who will be hosting live talks and seminars in the basement event space, which boasts a cosy bar, seating and a fantastic sound system.
Ticket holders will have the chance to sample four drams of whisky while enjoying live music from the best of the Whiskey Jar’s open mic night, hosted by the amazing Joe McAdam. Followed by the Bad Manners comedy night, where host Molly McGuinness will welcome some of the best stand-ups around.
The festival will run from 2.30pm until 6.30pm and pies and sides will be available to purchase on the day from the incredible Great North Pie Co. The bar will remain open as usual, serving all your favourite cocktails, beers and, of course, whiskies until late.
Tickets are available from Fever and priced at £8. Click here to get yours.
