The popular muddy assault course challenge, Tough Mudder, is set to return to Manchester this month for a weekend that promises “an electric and unforgettable course”. Participants (old and new) can push their limits and get a taste of the unique and muddy experience that features treacherous mud pits, towering walls, electrifying obstacles, and ice-cold water challenges. Taking place at Heaton Park on Saturday 13 July and Sunday 14 July, Tough Mudder will test participant’s grit, teamwork and camaraderie, with the duration of the course forcing entrants to experience a range of emotions. Thousands of participants will take on the challenge to earn a finisher’s headband, overcoming their fears and doubts across a range of distances on both the Saturday and Sunday event waves.
Participants can take part in the following courses:
- Tough Mudder 10K: This electrifying (literally) event features more than 20 adrenaline inducing obstacles, from the dizzying heights of “Everest 2.0”, plunging into the ice-cold depths of “Arctic Enema”, and braving the electrifying “Electroshock Therapy”. Every obstacle is designed to break you down and build you back up stronger than ever.
- Lidl 1 Mile Mudder: With many obstacles included, the one-mile muddy obstacle course is the perfect event for children who seem to have unlimited energy, the adventure encourages children to get muddy and perfect their teamwork.
Tough Mudder welcomes people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels with open arms to come out and challenge their mental and physical toughness. Whether participants are returning for the challenge or newly attending, it’s set to be an adventure packed and adrenaline fuelled weekend.
