If you remember those days long ago (in about 2014) when deep red hair was the height of fashion and the only question that mattered was ‘Justin Bieber or One Direction?’, you may remember a little band called The Neighbourhood. Their song Sweater Weather rocked the world of many an angsty teen, but more than that, the band continued to thrive and are now back with a brand new album, and a world tour to go with it.
The Neighbourhood has today (20 February) dropped ‘(((((ultraSOUND)))))+‘, the highly anticipated deluxe edition of their recent album ‘(((((ultraSOUND)))))’. The expanded edition deepens the sonic universe of the original album with five new tracks: Start, Good Grief, Lulu, Red Flag, and Bed.

The band has also announced additional dates for ‘THE WOURLD TOUR‘, which launches in March 2026 and spans North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia – due to overwhelming demand, more than twenty new dates have been added. The expanded run includes stops across Scandinavia, Malaysia, and the United States, featuring iconic venues such as Barclays Center, Wembley, and an additional hometown date at the Kia Forum. The Neighbourhood are set to visit Co-op Live in Manchester on Tuesday 1st September, 2026.
The Neighbourhood is a California-based alternative rock band comprised of Jesse Rutherford, Zach Abels, Brandon Fried, Jeremy Freeman, and Mikey Margott. Known for their genre-blending sound and moody aesthetic, the band formed in 2011 and broke through with their double-Platinum debut album ‘I Love You‘ (2013). The album features the multi-Platinum hit Sweater Weather, which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative chart.

Following the success of ‘Wiped Out!‘ (2015) and a string of EPs, the group continued evolving their sound with ‘The Neighbourhood‘ (2018) and ‘Chip Chrome & the Mono-Tones‘ (2020). The band has earned five multi-Platinum, six Platinum, and eight Gold-certified singles, along with two additional Platinum albums.
