After sell-out success in previous years, The Lowry Hotel is hosting its annual all-you-can-eat afternoon tea for Mother’s Day in its Grand Ballroom (oooh, fancy!), and it’s set to be the perfect occasion for the whole family.
The luxurious afternoon tea buffet includes unlimited sandwiches, scones and cakes, as well as a choice of tea, coffee or juice and entertainment for the whole family – this is one afternoon tea the kids won’t be bored at.
Savoury offerings include sandwiches with fillings of roast beef and onion chutney, gravadlax salmon with lemon cream cheese and chives, and a scrumptious hummus and roasted med veg wrap, all of which you can fill your boots with for the entirety of the two-hour sitting.
Sweet treats include classic scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, lemon tarts and Malteser cheesecake – so you can count on the classics with a twist. In terms of the kids menu, there’s plenty to go around with simple sandwiches, brownies and candyfloss.
The Grand Ballroom at the Lowry Hotel boasts elegance in every detail. Grand views across the panoramic Calatrava Bridge and River Irwell place the experience solidly within the surroundings of Manchester city centre, and the floor to ceiling windows on two sides fill the place with light.
The Mother’s Day special afternoon tea is really an experience, with top quality ingredients and an environment to match. Why not treat your mum, mother figure or special guardian this Mother’s Day at the Lowry Hotel?
The afternoon tea costs £39.95 per adult and £15 per child for two hours of endless food. The event takes place on Mother’s Day itself (March 19th) and starts at 12pm. Find out more here and book your place here before it inevitably sells out!
